Committee Chairs

Communications Director: LYNN TROIANO

Lynn joined the league as a member of the 2015-2016 provisional class, seeking opportunities to volunteer in both Schenectady County where she currently resides and Saratoga County, her ‘hometown’ county for most of her life. She has found these opportunities to be very gratifying and has gained an increased awareness of problems facing our communities and ways to lend a hand. Lynn is retired from the federal government, having worked in the administrative field for many years before switching to the IT arena. She has two grown children, Kevin and Rene, and resides with her husband, Ed, in Rotterdam along with their pup, Annabelle. She cherishes time with family and friends, traveling home and abroad, music, cooking, baking, kayaking, light hiking, and loves testing the water to new adventures.

Fund Development Director: LAUREN TRUNKO

Lauren joined JLSS as a member of the 2015-16 provisional class and saw the value in giving back with positive, supportive women in the community.  Lauren is the Director of Women and Family Services at the YWCA Northeastern NY in Schenectady and works closely with victims of domestic violence and women who are homeless.  Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from the University of Tampa and recently came home to New York after living in Tampa, Florida for almost 10 years.  Lauren is currently on the Board of the Community Land Trust in Schenectady and the Summer Smith Addiction Awareness 5k Committee.  Lauren lives with her husband in the historic Stockade neighborhood in Schenectady and has a little boy who is about to turn one.
