JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SCHENECTADY AND SARATOGA COUNTIES
Board of Directors 2011- 2012

President
Julie White Eklund

Julie White Eklund is beginning her fifth year with JLSS and is very excited at the League’s continuing growth and activity. When she isn’t involved with JLSS events, she may be volunteering at temple, her sorority or the Red Cross (where she recently gave her 125th plasma donation,) swimming at the YWCA (where she is also on the board,) going to concerts or gardening.

Julie is an analyst with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and recently moved to the historic Stockade neighborhood of Schenectady with her husband Neil. Their house was built in 1860 by the town’s “Ladies’ Benevolent Society,” as a refuge for indigent widows and orphans. They were both excited to live in a more urban environment, but knew very little about Schenectady; now they are both huge supporters of the area's revival.
